I have no phobia of owls, but it just looks psychotic.
My missus has a cuddly toy rabbit thing that I also think looks like it would jump at the chance to go on a killing spree.

Owl phobia maybe not but there lies somewhere buried deep in your subconcious a fear of toys or something. Perhaps you were mauled by a teddy as a child?

Actually thinking about it, you might be able to transfer the registration off the vehicle before scrapping it.
I've tried to insure mine before just in case the worst happens, but no insurance companies wanted to know. Quite annoying when you think how much the things cost some people.

This is whats worrying me, espesh as it has sentimental value as a 21st present, the've valued the repairs at £2500, and the parts come to £1000!

That may well be the reason.
If I get the chance sometime, I'll take a quick pic of this rabbit she has and you can see for yourself how it has this really creepy psychotic grin.

I think a phone call to the DVLA might be in order. The sooner the better as you don't want to lose it. There must be ways to do it.

True, but at least get them to send you the forms to transfer the registration. You don't need a car to transfer it onto you can put it onto a piece of paper. I did that when I had no car for a few weeks when buying a new car.

No, believe me David, her toy rabbit is much more evil than that one.

I haven't seen that film for years. Might have to take the dvd in to work tonight. Just incase its really quiet.

Ahhh it's a truly classic film!

I don't think it would be quiet if you took it in as you would be laughing most of the time hehe!

The registration? If you don't it gets written off with the vehicle and you can't have it anymore.

Exactly, I couldn't even give money away to my insurer to insure mine. Stupid rules! Mind you I suppose it does make me drive safer. Although Neal just goes to show its just as likely to be someone elses fault.

I lost my personalised plate, took the car of the road (sorn) then decided to move the plate to the mk6, was told the car it was coming from needed to have mot and tax!! Grrrr ..

I spoke to the dvla about that and apparently you have 12 months after you start the sorn to retain your plate if you let our tax disc run out
