That came out good, detail is there and the exposure seems spot on!

Looks good David, although it's a shame that a couple of faces are half obscured.

Thanks chaps :) Re: the faces ... yeah, it was a pretty rushed shot as a) it wasn't in the timetable, so b) everyone was wanting to move onto the next thing on the list ... I did say 'make sure you can all see the camera' ... and I guess some people are more camera shy than others ;) Can you tell which is the MD? ;)

Also a shame about the large pole coming out of the guy's head on the right :p I did take another shot where there were very few people (when checking the settings on the camera), and I plan to move that guy and paste in the rest of the pole from the other shot ... Sadly in the other shots I took those two faces were still half-obscured :( ... Ah well :)

Cheers :)

David

It is rather quiet isn't it. Took a few shots in the forest today but have had too many beers now to even bother processing them. Just sitting in front of Aussie Hour on Five with the laptop :)

Shall I turn up the volume?

:p

Congrats David - technically, and quality wise I think yours is the best! But the cute ones will always win :o - as I found out when I came runner up in a couple different competitions in NZ a while back and the winner just happened to be 8/10 each time - favoritism on young ones, but I don't really mind :) - They'll be our future.

Mitesh, kinda surprised you don't keep old photos backup, whether shot for contract/not/hobby or fun. I've kept everything from the past few years, and amasses over 1Tb of data spread over several hard drives, dvds etc

Usually I do but more of the older stuff which I either did bother with under the assumption of others have the backup. I got rid of it. Everything else is somehow there.

I didn't get in last year :( but finger's crossed for this year. Mitesh, click the link in my sig for submission details. You can submit 1 photo per share forum (last year it was 2 but I suppose there's more share sections this year).

Oh, and if you have any duck shots they want as many as they can get.

Cheers for that. OMG, I know its corny but I just watched the most powerful movie I have ever seen. Freedom Writers.

Im not a fan of movies due to its own take on even true stories but that is one amazing movie. Similar to Dangerous Minds but with a real story. *orders DVD*
