If I hadn't got more into shooting with primes then my answer would've been yes, but as it is I definitely prefer to have the money rather than a lens sitting there unused.

I was soo tempted to buy one at the start of the week

As for the book, I will try my socks off to try and get a good car shot in if I can. Real big competition though with the likes of Deanphoto. Has only seen his site, im such a bleeding fan!

I used to love using it on my 30D anyway, but once I got the 5D and tried it out on that.........well all I can say is WOW!!!!:lol::D
