Can someone translate all that POTN book crap into English please, Simplitons version

 ... I must admit I'm a little puzzled by it all myself ...

Matt (it is Matt, isn't it? ) - Oooo nice lens you've got there mate! Hope you enjoy your new purchase (and don't wish you hadn't sold the 70-200 F2.8! ;))

Mitesh - That does look like quite a cool film ... trailer here (external link) ...

I'm just working on the photos I took today ... man, the nervousness of doing a live shoot sure does pay off when you look through the pics afterwards and discover some stunners!! :D :D

David

2 it is. Im taking the first response! :D

Now to work on the high res version. I should have done this sooner.

Im only going to submit one. Unless they have a section for the most photos at a POTN meet of another POTN member.

If you're submitting be sure to go over your shot with a fine toothed comb - quality control is a must and some shots got binned last year before the public vote for this reason. Not many, but some.

#1 I like
#2 hmmm...nah
#3 Best out of the lot but you know, that has been a pretty common shot

With #1 If you pump up the yellow a touch, red and green, would be awesome!

Very nice Mitesh, I actually preferred the first, for being different, and more agressive looking angle.

Cool bugs Mike!

I've just uploaded some shots to facebook.
Damn thing, massive quality reduction! And I had uploaded one photo a couple days back at 604 px, sharpened for that size... and then uploaded uncropped version and massive soft difference

I might resize to 604px in future on important shots.

Again, that gallery :

Thanks Mitesh. I agree that 1 and 3 are the better 2 shots. I'll try boosting the colours of #1 and see how that looks.
