Hmmm! Doesnt it looked too underexposed??

It does to me, but I'm on my laptop which is reliably uncalibrated.

When I look at the two side by side I think the second looks slightly over exposed. Could just be me though. Or my laptop screen.

Guys, has anyone got a photo that they know is spot on after they calibrated their monitor. I think I have just finished going mine. Need some sort of idea of what I should be seeing.

Hi Mitesh

What I have in my hand is two calib prints - one each from Photobox & Peak Imaging, form each site you then download the same reference image as file. Therefore you have a comparison to a known 'standard'. However the received wisdom is that you do not place the print next to the screen because method of display will affect what you are seeing ~ FWIW and possibly one reason I need that need new screen it my screen and the prints are not an absolute match (shadows a little blocked and reds a tad desaturated).

Here are the links ~ http://www.peak-imaging.co.uk (external link) http://www.photobox.co.uk/ (external link) in both instances sadly you need to delve into the site as navigating to the right bit does not give a direct URL. If I were you I would phone them inaddition to asking them to email the file.

HTH :)

That was a great meal ~ you must have a good set of pans :p

Anyone made photobooks??? What service did you use and if it was one that required the installation of software was it "well behaved"? I have emailed myphotobook and photobook with some pre user questions but sadly no answers yet after 24hours :(

I used myphotobook and it was pretty good. The software was ok to use and worked quite easily.
