It's the reculver towers between Margate and Herne Bay.
They are 12th-century towers of a ruined church in the remains of an Roman 'Saxon Shore' fort and a Saxon monastery.

Found it hard to get decent expoed shots as the sun was low in the sky and very bright, either the sky or the towers were ok but never both :( .
Not my usual sort of photography usually more motorsports but trying different things in the off season :)

Time to start playing with blending multiple exposures for HDR I think ;)

You'll fit right in if you're into motosports. Lots of folks here are always out taking shots of cars/bikes/etc :)

Mainly do motorbike racing as and when I can get to the tracks, can be difficult due to my home location i.e closer to france than most tracks!!!
Here is my present lowly steed.

Nice shot. Like the windsock in the background as a compliment.

Isn't Brands and Lydden Hill in Kent? Had great times there before.

What times did you manage on a good day there?

My Escort on its last legs made it in 19 seconds :o Bearing in mind the boot was full of audio and a 1.4 block. :)

Ill have to head down to see the results.

Mine was all stock. Wish I still had it but too much wrong with it. Would like to run again but will have to source another car. A Corrado would be fun down there.

Why dont we do this, organise a day at the Pod when it opens on a RWYB day?

Think it was £12 per car last time I went. Might have gone up and that way, we should get some fun snaps for the day. Those days are usually quiet and we could use the spectator stands for photos.
