@ Adam
Since I dont even have a decent tripod, I wouldnt be able to tell you. But looking at the position for each mount on both lenses, it same issue.

@ Kevin
Most shots today be farting around so I will have to wait for tomorrow. Since I need to drop my bracket off to Ian, what time are we all meeting up?

I was thinking around 2ish? Just so there's some time for a bit of light but dusk isn't too far off. Covent Garden Station for the meetup point?

Sounds good to me. I might head into London sooner then, grab some candids and have a wonder.

All you Photomatix users, do you use the stand alone, or PS plugin? is there any difference, is one better than the other?

Another thing Mitesh... if I use my 488RC2 head and put the plate on the tripod collar of my 70-200... I can't get it on the head without taking the grip off my 5D. Do you have a similar problem with your 300L?

I have that problem with a lot of my lenses, I have to rotate the collar.. Really annoying

I think the weight and feel really does help it up well and the fact is 77mm still allows me to use filters that I currently have.

Heres one from this morning. Shade didnt help but ill have more over the next few days.

 Thats just a RAW to JPEG. This was before 12pm so no brekkie or much sleep, I did not want to bother processing.

Going to give it a proper workout tomorrow and see what I think. Does have a lot of pop but until I use it more, not sure if I like it.

Yes, save all the pages in the same folder. Anytime you need to link it to another page on the site so just "home.html" or "contact.html"

Be suitable for online and offline use.

Had an interesting day today- went to the national Portrait Gallery to see an exhibition showing Annie Leibovitz's work. It ends at the end of Jan I think. Well worth a visit- but costs £11 to get in.

Also, found myself taking photos of the anti Israel Gaza campaign and then I went for a walk around the south embankment and watched the sun go down over Parliament.

A couple of shots from today- Horseguards

You don't need to include the full path in your links, you can just make them relative links (contact.html instead of http://www.mysite.com/contact.html (external link)), provided that all of your html files are in the same folder.

Let me know if that makes sense or not, but basically yet, you can build everything locally without having any webspace (I do all of my development locally)
