Had a great day yesterday at the whf cat sanctuary. Anyone thinking of doing it stop thinking and book it :)

Heres one straight from the camera just processed raw to jpeg.

And if you book it direct with the whf off their site, all the money goes to the cats welfare.

You don't need to include the full path in your links, you can just make them relative links (contact.html instead of http://www.mysite.com/contact.html (external link)), provided that all of your html files are in the same folder.

Let me know if that makes sense or not, but basically yet, you can build everything locally without having any webspace (I do all of my development locally)

Cheers Kevin, if I get stuck I'll drop you a pm! :-)

You really don't know how big they are until your nose is 3 inches from theirs.
As I said make sure you book it direct and then they receive all the money. When you book it through other photography companies the whf only see about £55 of it.

The two guys that took us round are photographers as well as volunteers at the site and so manipulate the cats to do some great stuff.

Great photos all!

Sorry I've been a little quiet lately - haven't found time to engage in the forum much ... back to work tomorrow though so I think it's safe to say you'll be seeing a lot more of me :p

Here's a shot from yesterday when Steffi and I went to Portsmouth for the day!

Proved a great opportunity to road-test my Christmas present to myself - an EOS 450D! :D I'll mainly be using it for Aerial Photography but it's also a great introduction to the world of DSLRs for Steffi, who is already thoroughly enjoying using it!

When we separated during the day (when I wanted to go off photographing and Steffi wanted to inspect the local sales ;)) I used both bodies, usually with my 17-55 on one and either the Nifty of 70-200 on the other :)

I didn't give the 450 an easy day either, with lots of low-light, long-exposure work ... and I'm impressed!

Both hand-held (gotta love the IS on the 17-55!), and no noise reduction on either - in-camera or in post-processing!

Cheers for now! :D
