Looks great, Mitesh. That guy in number 6 must've been mad! :D

Yea, I was deliberately looking the other way while he was "performing".

Here's a couple of mine from today.

1. The same statue as Mitesh's #5

Great Pictures Souperman and Mitesh!

Finally got to upload some of my images from earlier in the week.

I don't think i have posted a duck on POTN yet, but as this is an old lens i will settle for a Swan.

Not amazing pictures but they were taken with a Tamron 80-210 f/4.5-5.6
;possibly the worst lens i have ever used- but due to my lack of any other long focal length lenses it came out with me.
(my dad bought it for me when i had a film slr approx 10 years ago. Bless him.) I think out of over 100 pictures i got 4 keepers .

Looking at getting the 70-200 f/2.8 L IS, but im not sure if the weight is too much for regular use? The f/4 IS looks allot more "keep in your camera bag" than the 2.8 , but im not sure if i should give up the extra lowlight ability for evening use.

Thanks Rob :)

The 70-200 is fairly heavy, but not so bad that you can't carry it (plus another lens or two) around with you all day. That being said, I don't really bring mine along with me very often these days ;)

I think i might take the 2.8 - im sure i can manage the extra weight and it will mean i wont have to second guess myself forever more. (plus i see these lens purchases as a "lifetime" purchase so although the expense galls me, i can convince myself its ok! )

Why dont you take it out so much these days though?

On another note i am building a website but i need to finally choose a website/company name. At the moment i am stuck on Project-B Photography. What do you guys think of that?

I would have gone for RAB Photography (my initials) but it seems to be used in every form possible and i want something a little more unique.

Not sure really. I think there are other lenses in my bag that I like better so they come out more often. It is the longest lens I own, so it still gets a workout when I know I'm going to need reach.

What would you use as a domain name for project-B photography?

goddamnit, just checked domain names again and there is already a photo site named ProjectB in the states. Back to the drawing board - annoying as that was the only name i have come up with so far that i liked.

I suppose i could use www.project-bphoto.co.uk (external link) though

Yea, that's not too bad. I would make sure to buy the domain without the - in it as well though, and just forward that one to the domain you want. Domains are always harder to remember when you've got to throw non-alpha characters into the mix.

Just had a look and projectbphoto.com and project-bphoto.com domains are both available. You should be fine with either of those (or both).

Cool.
Do you you guys like the name though? I do, but thats because i thought of it. It doesn't smack of "second bestness" to you, as it has the B in the title? (playing devils advocate for myself here)

Also, do you know of any domain name hosts that are good/cheap? I don't need a huge amount of bandwidth as SmugMug will handle that part, i just need to link my domain to them.
