Its my 5th wedding anniversary on the 31st so the wife will have me by the short and curlies if I don't spend time with her. I'd bring her to the meet but we've only got one camera between us.

Bring her to the meet and get her to carry the rest of your gear while you just have the camera. Seems like a fair deal if you ask me.

Edit: That bubble trick looks awesome too! So it's just a question of blowing a bubble outside and waiting for it to freeze?

With how the weather has been lately it can't be that hard to do either!

And they say romance is dead... The wife baulks at carrying anything heavier than a purse so 10kg of camera gear is asking a bit much... Will see if I can borrow a camera from someone though...

I'm sure if you offer to buy her a happy meal from McDonalds she'll see that as adequate compensation for lugging your gear round all day. And besides, what better way to celebrate your anniversary than with a cheeseburger and fries.

Alas, she can't stand McDonalds burgers, though she is partial to KFC. Maybe she'll settle for a few crispy strips?

BTW, speaking of KFC. Canterburians rejoice, KFC is opening along the sturry road in the next few months. No longer do we have to plan our motorway breaks to coincide with Welcome Break services!

It should be a lot of fun! My only concern is going to be how often I get a chance to recharge my camera batteries

As for the bubbles, I'm pretty sure it's just as simple as that! Won't know till we try though.

I didn't listen to the sound but it looked hilarious! I loved it when the guy tried to type something and a huge drop-down menu appeared with all possible options for that sentence They really went to a lot of effort too! With all those "working" Macbook Wheels ( ) on display ......

It's soooo much funnier with the sound on! There are quite a few good apple digs/stereotypes in there.
