Darn, looks like we missed it :(

Maybe there'll be more in Summer?

I went there then http://flickr.com …72157606261966997/detail/ (external link) but they only let you shoot from outside. They however have told me that they were happy to arrange an organised tour inside after H&S training. I emailed them after the event and they said they'd let me know if they were organising the tour but haven't heard from them since. Emailed them Mon am but had no reply. Last time they were very quick.

Can you post the e-mail address or link to it here so we can all bombard them, that should get their attention :)

This (external link) is the same blog that had the Hubble Advent calendar (external link) at xmas time. They've always got great photos, and this week (external link) was really good as usual. Makes me think I should stop whining about the -2 degree temperatures we've been getting here.

#21 is just stunning, and #23 is just crazy :)

I want a go on the ice slide!!!

I have just noticed, the shot Warren put on FB of the 85L has only got replys from us lot .. Lol!

I went to the Harbin Ice festival 3 years ago and its insanely cool. Sadly i only had a P&S camera with me so my pictures are pretty rubbish due to the low light. They have huge 3 floored ice buildings you can walk inside and that ice slide is Brutal. Its quite fast and you end up banging your ribs on the side if you are taller than 5ft4!

The ice claimed a victim outside my shop today - customer picked up his motorbike which had been in for repair for almost 2 weeks, got about 15m away from the shop, hit a patch of ice and binned it! I would have taken a picture, but the guy looked so embarrassed that i couldn't bring myself to get the camera out.

Anyone around for a little meet on Thursday 22nd? Nothing major, just me and Lewis planning to make our way into London for the day.

No sense and unfortunately not enough money.

Cool, if I had a telephoto I'd be tempted! But then again even if I had one, not the best idea just after recovering from flu...

Andy (futura) on here sometimes goes there, don't know if he's seen the thread yet though.

*Edit* IES (Ian?) - checking out your website and all the work you post on here, I'm a fan! Look forward to seeing what you come back with, and the others too.

Pick up a 300 f4L.

Dirt cheap and im loving mine. Will that influence to buy another lens? :o

I'm up for it. Only snag will be if the missus decides to organise anything for my birthday, but I wouldn't imagine she'll do it that late as my birthday is on the 1st.
I'll be expecting presents of course.

OK, but then you have to get me some for mine on the 13th ;)

Any ideas on location? I really fancy coastal/seaside/old fashioned resort if anyone is up for it.
