On an unrelated note.

I have a couple of distinct dust bunnies on the 40D sensor which are still fuzzily there @ f8

Heh ho, now need to buy that wet cleaning gear I have been putting off. I know this has come up here on POTN umpteen times but where have you SE POTNers bought the kit/gear???

TIA :)

I got mine from WE. Sensor swabs + Eclipse E2 cleaning fluid.

They have no restriction on weight for carry on as long as it can be lifted into the overhead locker on the plane and the bag is within the size limits which yours is(i have the same bag). I'm flying home with them to the UK tomorrow so i will double check when i check in and let you know on saturday..

Im up for the meet BTW if i can get the day off.. If you want a good location you could try the Warren country park down in folkestone, its massive and has tons of different things to shoot.

I'm going to be flying up to Inverness in Jun to play with some Osprey, i can fit all my gear into my 200AW but it ways about 12kg which is more than the 5kgs alowd on Easyjet, so i would need to split it 50/50% in to a peli case and hand luggage, and i'll also be hiring a 500L for the trip.

has anyone had and expreiance flying with Easyjet with your camera gear, in the hold and Carry on?:(

Looks good from the map, any example shots to tempt us with?

Yeah that also rings a bell for me ... I've always flown EasyJet to Germany over the past 2+ years and they say the hand luggage has no weight restriction, but it says "(within reason!)" next to it ;)

Maybe worth checking EasyJet's T&Cs on their website to be sure ....

David :)

How do people feel for Rye? It has everything, castles, olde english villagey bits, churches, harbours, fishing bits, you name it. Lots to take piccies of.
The only thing is, is it too far for some?

Let me know if its too far and I'll rethink.
