Matt, I might join you on that. Could be fun.

Phew! Just finished Devil May Cry 4. Bit of a random game but enjoyable. Glad it came to the Xbox360. :)

Its odd since I dont play with the Wii anymore. I like the more racing style games. GTA is ok but not wow.

And not really many CAR racing games came to the Wii. I couldnt get into Mario Cart either. :( Dad still loves Tennis on Wii Sports. Still cant beat me though. :)

Yeah I had to pick my sister up from the station. First time since I got my license like 5 years ago that I have driven with foggies on. Looked cool but I still dont like using them unless I have to. Today I REALLY did.

Anyways, time to hit the sack. Might go pick up a monopod tomorrow, help me keep steady in these cold times. If not, ill get some swan shots. :)

I live in Ramsgate and didn't know that was there

Think I need to get out and about the local area a bit more.

How do people feel for Rye? It has everything, castles, olde english villagey bits, churches, harbours, fishing bits, you name it. Lots to take piccies of.
The only thing is, is it too far for some?
Let me know if its too far and I'll rethink.

Rye is nice.

elysium wrote in post #7032726 (external link)
Cheers Matt
Chris I think that will be one long ass drive. I think ill have no hearing by the end of that! Could still do it, would have to leave pretty early in the morning.

Mitesh - My wifes parents live about 30mins south of Rye (Bexhill) and its usually takes us around 3hrs to drive there, rye will prob be the same depending on traffic, although your car is prob much quicket than our little KA.;)

I did this exact thing last year- went Osprey shooting at the Rothiemurchus Estate (Where BBC Springwatch came from this year). Also flew EJ LGW-INV.
Currently, EJ carry on is size limited, no weight restricitions. http://www.easyjet.co.uk/EN/Planning/baggage.html (external link)

I put bodies and lenses in hand luggage only, everything else in the hold. Chargers, and all that jazz. Don't forget the liquids restriction too.

It also paid to pay the premium for early boarding -
1. Get a legroom seat (NOTE: The cloth on the headrest is GREY not Orange for these seats- makes them easy to spot) as it's a free-for-all when you board. Get a seat and sit down, bit like a bus.
2- Also makes sure you get your gear up and out of the way early, not jammed in 10 rows away, so when you get off it's there and not with someone who doesn't give a toss about it and you can't reach it because everybody is in the bloody way!

Have a great time. Be prepared for some stupidly early mornings (I had to get in the hide by 4-4.30 am.)
Oh yeah, take a big scrim net 3-4ft sq to cover the side window and a big bean bag, and a thin black silk balacalava helped too. Sorry if that's teaching you to suck eggs, not my intent. If you're not going to Rothie then that's probably all useless.
If you are, say hi to Keith and Mike for me would you please?

Thanks

Mike

Thanks Mike, i was planning on the early boarding more to sit with my gear above me as you said. I read its a early start about 4, really looking forward to it. Did you have any issues with Mosquitoes?
