Looks like that Zigview could be the answer to your problems then.
Not all of your problems, obviously. It's not that advanced. Just the need for a timer remote and angle finder. :p:lol:;)

Ill have to research this some more. THanks for this. :)

Heh. I normally just check on here and see what I missed. :)

Going monopod shopping today. I have NOOOO idea what im looking for. Was thinking that or an angle finder.

bear in mind, should you ever decide to use any of the BIG lenses, that some monopods can slip under load.
When I stepped up with the 400, my old monopod couldn't handle it when panning.

I use this one, it has been great (apart from the rubber foot wearing away)

Yeah, ill have to try one out first to see what I think. Does look a bit more complex than plugging in a cable. Could be a doddle. Only time will tell but for now, ill email em.

Yeah it had all gone here too this morning .... I saw a fantastic sight looking across the A3 on the way to work this morning where the sun was piercing through some low-cloud ... I could have pulled over but a) the road would have obscured a lot of it (I was on the wrong side) and b) it was too late by then! .... *hmmpff* Even had my camera (G9) with me!

Next time ;)

David :)

I just ordered a set of those (external link) on Monday for my camera and it turns out they're out of stock. I'd call first if you're planning on getting those ones.

I picked up an angle finder (external link) a couple of weeks ago and I really like it, though I know Andy wasn't thrilled with his. My only complaint about it is that it doesn't lock onto your camera the way the normal eye piece does so you can't really put it on and leave it on while you wander around. It has a nasty habit of slipping off :)
