Good point, Altough, would be handy if the sun was going to be in the frame as the sensor is exposed 100% in live view and the sun can damage it.

For temporary use, I don't believe there's a problem using LiveView whilst the camera is pointing at the sun ... in fact that's how I shoot the majority of sunsets / shots where the sun is in the frame .... obviously don't leave it pointing at the sun for 10 minutes, but for a couple of seconds at a time I very much doubt you'll do any damage to the sensor ....

Wildo, does this mean multiple stop and searches at each meet under the terrorism act?

Whoops!!

That's the 1 good thing about my job not providing me with a computer, it means I have to bring in my laptop which also means that it's not monitored. :D

Blimey! What's happening - this forum seems to have gone mad all of a sudden!

I bought the Phottix remote switch/timer and the radio remote off of ebay - they work ok and didn't cost an arm-and-a-leg as Canon's ones do!

I hope I don't respond to Imulse and go and get the 5D2 - or I really will be in trouble! No - Sod it! my humble 50D will do everything I want it to - for a while.

Supposed to be handling enquiries. Not the greatest but something to keep me going till I can get my business up and running. Only problem is that it is all shift work.

Friend of mine does shift work, he does alot of nights, which from a photography point of view on the way home with sun rise could create some great opportunities!
