Went into London today with a group from the TalkPhotography forum and had an interesting day. Ended up losing the group during the Gaza/Israel Rally in Trafalgar. Just going through the pics now. The 1D shone!

I think I may have inadvertantly power spiked it or something because I plugged in a couple of wrong power leads in a desperate effort to remember which lead was the right one! :rolleyes: I have so many that look the same! :mad:
I know I have the right one in now but it's just not doing anything.

If you can find the same drive with the same firmware, you can swap the drive circuit boards.

Hopefully it is the circuit in the external drive which is damaged, but with the light coming on I think this is not the case.

You will be able to recover your files but it may cost you £300 - £400

Cant believe the 1D MKIII at Warehouse Express has just gone up £700!!!!vmad Now its £3056. The start of things to come?
