The Mk IIN does have a manual mode, yes.

Moving from the 5D to the IIN, I don't really miss full frame. You deal with whatever you see through the viewfinder, after all.

I thought it had (as Ive been using it in manual for over a year!) but that post made me think that the MKIII had something extra.?

I love the speed of the MKIIn, Id also miss the extra length that a crop sensor gives me trackside.

LOL! I was confused for a sec since my 1D has a few modes. A newer model has less. Odd

Wooooh! That brings us down to earth. The dead man was an innocent bystander.

Turns out he was shot by police with an M4.

:(

Can't catch up on the goss. Only just got back from couple nights away, and camping under the stars... Literally. Slept on a beautiful beach at Cathedral Cove. Will get some images up at some point, but for now, I'm going on a boat trip around the harbour with a friend. :p

He's afraid that someone will steal the 17-40, so he only uses the Sigma when he's more than a mile away from home... :D

Yeah, I need to sort that out. Shutter speed is also being displayed in a weird format.

I've had my Mk IIN for the last year now, I trust it implicitly now that I've gotten used to it.

Again these pages fly by :D

@Mitesh - nice group of street candids, something I have very rarely done!

On prices - I spotted in my local LCE window this evening a 300mm IS L for £799, a 400mm DO for £3495 and I think a 1Ds body for £1299. The 300 certainly appeals but no budget :( though having said that I have no idea if that is a good price???

Right noe to have a gander at Pete's site :)

That was a great meal ~ you must have a good set of pans :p
