At least that means I won't need to bring my 17-40 now. I'll just steal your 16-35 for the night. ;)

I'd be interested to know if it tempts you to buy one. The main reason I have never rented is I would never want to give things back :)

I hate giving lenses back to Stewart  So far I've had the 16-35II, 300 2.8 and 100-400. I want to try the 14L II, 24TS and 500L next.

Off out now to play! laters.

Nice selection, David, especially the nice cuppa to finish

My wife and I were thinking of going on Wednesday, but the house isn't open, just the estate. Worth it do you think, just for a nice walk?

Hi Anke :) Thank you!

Hmmm, we spent the large majority of our time in the house, and only a bit in the gardens ... look at the weather to see why :p ... I think there's quite a bit of estate there to see but I'm not certain - some of the 'Woodlands Walk' was out of bounds due to 'Health and Safety' reasons ... lord knows what that means! There is also an 'Estate Walk' though which might be rather nice - might be worth phoning them to check :)

Cheers,

David :)

PS. Am typing this from work! Other than a load of bumf to read through it doesn't seem so bad so far :) Am certainly being treated with more respect than when I was only here as a student last summer ;) One horrible thing is the lack of internet access at my desk! I have to apply for it with a VALID reason or I don't get it! Am typing this from a 'web surfing' computer you see .... ;) Ah well, in this current climate I guess I should be grateful I have a job at all!

Welcome back! No time for sleep, where are the pics?

7 days of partying from 8pm till about 5am with an open bar EVERY night has really taken its toll on us. Have never drank so much and half the time, was too wasted for photos. Think I did not even fill up one card but my word that is one hell of a party town

Ill run through some pics later. Nearly drowned my camera taking one picture

Welcome back Mitesh. Sounds like you had a great time. You'll have to get yourself along to the meet on Wednesday night and you can tell us all about it. :D
