7 days of partying from 8pm till about 5am with an open bar EVERY night has really taken its toll on us. Have never drank so much and half the time, was too wasted for photos. Think I did not even fill up one card but my word that is one hell of a party town

Ill run through some pics later. Nearly drowned my camera taking one picture

So it was ok ish then? Lol .. Glad to hear you had a good time mate! :D

Some shots from a rather damp, but nevertheless pleasant, trip to the National Trust's 'Ightham Mote' property in Kent yesterday!

Btw for those who don't know, Ian and I work at the same company :D Very nice chap he is too! :)

Actually I think it's quite good that I don't have internet access, at least for the moment, as I'm *hopeless* at self-control so I would probably be checking the forums every 5 minutes and getting absolutely *nothing* done :p  Not a good start for a new employee!

Looking forward to the Wednesday meet everyone! Weather looks smashing!

I have only a few hours around lunchtime free, then off to Wye for my mums birthday party :(
Believe me I'd rather be with you lot!

Am thinking of spending a few hours around the Greenwich Dome on Sunday morning from 08:30 to about 11:30 if anyone wants to hang about. Thinking of shooting the dome from the outside, then walking down to the Thames Barrier then back to the dome for when it opens for a quick shoot. Anyone want to come?

I'm already in London on Saturday night, and will be quite late I'd imagine!
Do you think you'd be able to shoot inside the dome? I don't think so

Hi Everyone - Don't tell me I've done the wrong thing - But............

Bought 50D on Friday - absolutely no problems and superb sharpness.
Autofocus A1 Servo is also faster than 40D.
All my lenses seem to register ok and do not need microadjustment - curious?

If you're hanging on - Don't! - Just do it! I am sure it will please.
I will/might post a few pics later but it has been such a lousy weekend.

Good for you Ray....How about a mini magazine style review:D
In the current climate i am keeping my money in the bank...NO...Errr...I mean:confused:

Right, I decided to get up for a while, cant sleep. Feel like going partying.

There is one club there. If you ever go Cancun, even if you dont drink or club, you HAVE to visit this place. Its about $60 entry which is about £30 and sounds pricey but it has open bar till 3:30am which is awesome (like most clubs have open bar out there) but this club is a nightclub mixed in with acting and shows.

Hell, you even get to dance on the bar itself which we loved. ^_^

One thing, its hard to take photos out there due to humidity, everytime, I had to leave my camera out in the sun while all the condensation wore off, got distracting but worked through it.
