Hows the softbox/brolly Rich?

I opened up my Westcott 28" softbox umbrella last night, what an awesome bit of kit.
It's almost as quick as an umbrella to put up, and gives out a HUUUUGE light source!

Good thing I brought two! (got them from some guy in SA on ebay).

I havent had time to shoot anything in anger yet!

Looking forward to wednesday evening.

Is anyone missing any kit that I/any one else might be able to bring along to borrow?

Not that I have much spare, I'm planning on bringing:

1D, 10-20, 24-70, 70-200.
Tripod.
Flashes/strobist gear/posket wizards.

I'm not used to travelling with the lightweight gear! (i.e no 400!)

Right guys, just a quickie. Can someone who is going to the meet on Wednesday let me have their mobile number so I can call to find out where exactly you are, as me and Lewis (LEWWY) won't be getting there until about 6:30-7.
Obviously it's gonna be best if its someone who is planning to get there at the original time of 6 (Adam? Warren? David?).

I'm not gonna be able to get back on here until tomorrow afternoon just before I leave to travel into London so if any of you can send me your number by PM or maybe even text me on 07813012162

Cheers, and see you all tomorrow evening. :D

I'll deffo be there, number is 07793114866 (I'll also text it)

I think the dust is more disturbing than the spider! I can even notice a few of the blobs when I'm wide open so that's gonna take up more time in pp :(

Here's my first go with the 16-35II. wow you need to think about composition with this lens, w-i-d-e! I'm pretty sure the were all at 16mm, shame it was so overcast.

This is for Anke

I must tender my most profuse apologies Anke - you replied to one of my comments in April, welcomed me to the thread and asked if I had any nice shots of Worthing - I have not seen it until today 07/10/2008.

Yes I do have a few that I like but generally my stuff is rubbish - probably 1 in 50 even remotely any good. But, I have now followed Ray.Petri and purchased a 50D that I am going to test tomorrow - So caveat you never know.

And thanks for the welcome

Regards Bob Simmo2006
