Far better detail resolution in motion picture films than in any digital video recording devices! 1080p HDTV is a poor 1900 x 1000, for example.

I imagine someone (external link) disagrees with you.

OK, where are there any claims of resulution? the PDF only mentions a full frame size, but no hint of resolution! 100fps, but no hint of resolution.

[edit] I just found a reference on the web site that "Mysterium ™ boasts greater than 66db Dynamic Range thanks to its large 29 sq. micron pixels. And 12,065,000 pixels deliver resolution that can only be called Ultra High Definition."

Interestingly the specs still state: "1920×1080 progressive, RGB or 4:2:2, 1280×720 progressive, RGB or 4:2:2" or merely HDTV quality!

It's an Arriflex 16SR3. (external link) That line of 16mm film camera includes models that are modified for exceptionally high frame rates. NFL Films perfected the practice of overcranking football game film so it plays back in slow motion when projected at the 24 fps standard, so it's obvious that they would want to use the best available film camera for that purpose. The 16SR3 can shoot 16mm film at up to 150 fps.
