can't let the passing of Richard Wright go unmentioned today. Another cornerstone of musical history moves on. :(

some fairly old canon camera stuff, canon lenses, Manfrotto "thingy", and an M5, also an M6 that has had a 720nm filter bolted onto the sensor:

That news really bummed me out this morning. I doubt the guys a had an American tour in the near future, but now if they did it wouldn't be the same.

All condolences to his family and friends. See you on the Dark Side Rick.

R.I.P. Rick. Go and find Syd and have a jam.

I was hoping Syd would get comfortable enough to be interviewed just to clear up the cult status of his quitting the biz. David was in touch with his sister to find out how he was doing and make sure royalties were being paid, but Syd didn't want any contact. It's sad to lose both so close together.

Very sad indeed. My favorite band of all time by far was Pink Floyd, favorite album was Wish you were Here followed closely by The Wall. Tons of great music on all their albums though. Sad, very sad.

How very unfortunate. Richard Wright was an amazing musician, and a Pivotal part of the Pink Floyd.

Hard to believe isn't it! He did some work with David Gilmour a few years back and still sounded great.

Check out David Gilmour's "Remember That Night" DVD. AMAZING version of Echoes. Gilmour also has a CD/DVD set coming out on Tuesday, not sure if Rick played with him on that or not.
