I just picked up the 10-22 today and had to go play with my new toy. I went to downtown Albany cause I knew it looked pretty cool at night. Anyways, here are the results. C+C would be greatly appreciated!

Nice shots. You got the horizons straight, which was pretty hard for me to learn when I got my wide angle. :)

Just a few days earlier and I would of ran into you there; my shots with the same lens: https://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=567430

Do you have a permit to go in that parking deck you were on to take these shots? I have been looking at that deck for a while but the entrance says "Permit required" if my memory serves me correctly. Its in an ideal location for good shots.

Looks like a good thing that New York ignored its Capital until Nelson Rockefeller set up residence there. Now, while other state capitals are dotted with the aging crumbles of over-ambitious hangovers from the 20s and 30s, Albany is glimmery new and optimistic. You've caught it well - thanks.

I like Albany because it is different....if ALL the capitals were like Albany I am sure we'd LOVE the older style capitals more and be complaining about the soulless architecture of the many.

A photo I took HERE published in National GeographicTime on your hands? Then HERE'S plenty more photos to nibble on (external link):

You're pics look awesome!

It's actually free and I just drive to the top of it an take the pictures. Unfotunatly everytime I make it down there the lights on the buildings are off. It seems as though they are on a strange schedule. When these pics were taken it was before 9 and I figured they would still be on...oh well. I will catch them with the lights on at some point.
