So many pics of herons, I thought I would add this one. I took this thru the window of my den at approx. 20 ft. I'm not sure what type of heron this is, but it visits our creek often to dine on minnows. It's fun to watch!! He's the "picture of stealth.";)

Looks like a Great Blue Heron to me. Nice shot.

Wow,. nice view of the Great Blue from your Den! :)

I am going to 'try' to get a shot of this bird near me . . . when they come back my way. We have a large group of nests out in the swamp(s). Should be fun. Nice catch btw.

Thanks to all. I am fortunate to live on this little creek which is a natural flyway for birds of all sorts. I see occasional deer as well, even a turkey now and then. Glad you enjoyed the pics.
