Color looks off to me, but that may be the pp "look" you were going for, which then is fine. If you were looking for natural colors, I think the baby should be a little more pink. In my mind's eye, a perspective coming from further up on the mom's head (i.e. from on top/behind) so that the mother's face was a little closer to the baby's face and perhaps showing just a little more of the mom's head, would have looked better. Nice moment captured.

Change that to portrait framing to lose some of the extraneous background and you've got a really nice picture. Did you know this lady? The baby-papoose is another object to get rid of as it draws some attention. Just think about your subject and what you want those who look at the photo to concentrate on. But again, your photo tells a nice story - tender moment.
