I kinda had to go with what Mamma Nature was giving me that day. Very high sky with occassional light showers. Getting shadow detail (in the original) required letting the sky go.

Playing with it some, I noticed that if I pulled out most of the color except for Blue and Aqua, it left the shell of the car kind of "Blued" like a gun barrel and it also held some color in the safety glass that's shattered.

I think I need to go back though and wipe the entire background to a solid white. The blue along the right edge is kinda buggin' me.

I love the high key - and the blue along the edge doesn't bother me - it "grounds" that side of the image - it's subtle at any rate.
