Rider on the Storm C & C Please

OK, we just got back from our annual trip to Eaton's Ranch and I only have 4000 shots to edit. In no particular order, this is one of the first ones I have edited. Actually very little editing done, except to bring up the shadows a tiny bit. (I still wanted the silhouette look.)

Also is a 100% crop. As it turns out, I bought the 100-400 L and, god, is that lens sweet or what?!?

I like the crop so well, I might end up taking the shot that direction. Don't know yet, haven't decided.

In any event - here is the first shot from this years trip.

LOVE the first shot!

The 1st one is very nice! OTOH, the crop is falling apart.

I think the composition on the first one is great. Tells a great story. Plus, nice dramatic skies.

Just saw your comment on the 100-400 and yes, it is a sweet, sweet lens. The first time I put it on a body (FF) I was amazed at the sharpness. I thought "Man, I must have the best copy ever made" but it looks like you got one too.

First shot is beautiful and very dynamic. While I agree that the crop is not the best in the world, it does go to show how good that lens really is. Not bad for a 100% crop on a zoom lens if you ask me...Keep up the good work. That first one could be a wall hanger.
