There are 8 cardinals that have been spending most of their time right outside my back window. They seem to have fun dive-bombing each other AND tormenting me with my camera. I managed to get one or two good shots and here is one...

I have an entire family living near me and they're at my feeder daily, but always in low-light, never for long, and they always leave seconds after I show up. You can take my 100-400 L away when you pry it from my cold, dead fingers.

Now I'm jealous. ![]() Don't worry- I've been trying to get a good shot for weeks. I have about 800 frames from the past month and there are only a few that are worth trying to do much with. I second the always in low light and never for long comments. I finally gave up and left the camera and tripod set up so that I could just walk into the room and shoot. David
