Chippewa Valley rain(air) show

Great shots Andrew! I'm really liking the vortices on Fat Albert but they're all sharp and well exposed.

How close to the front of the crowd were you? I may just have to get closer that you were with that 500mm

I'm looking to finally buy a 100-400 this week.

You'll love it....I got mine from B&H during the rebate time....just have not been able to properly give her a run at an airshow yet ......I have taken some shots of an Air Tractor though which I was pleased with.

Some very awesome shots, and I still have lens envy with regard to the 500

The Super on TO is awesome. I'm looking to finally buy a 100-400 this week. Then buy the 500 come sometime next year. Plus, go to more airshows.

Are you shooting all Focus Points, or just Center?

I am always up against the show line nobody in front of me just plenty behind me it pays to go early and setup an area and stake your claim.

That's where I always am....hmmmm....I may have to find a way to cross the show line
