Too bright - too garish. The color balance is typical of night shots - too orange. Yes, you're right - who am I to decide what color your image should be. See what others think!

Tweak the white balance and you should see some improvement, which might be easier said than done because those look like sodium lights.

Some grain, maybe run a lower ISO.

Composure is good, my eyes flowed through the photo.


Just work on the WB some.

I wouldnt say its too orange, if you "fix" the wb in your shot it just looks odd. Yes its orange but not akin to a portrait under tungsten, where you need to adjust the wb in order to get skin tones exact. I think if you give the shot a bit more punch and maybe an ever so slight cooling filter, It'd be fine.

How would I get the yellow out of the photo? The street lights in downtown Miami Beach are a strange color of yellow on their own. In the future how can I correct this?
