Ok, just spoke with California State Board of Equalization. I just need to claim it on line 2 of my sales tax return. (Use tax line)....so it is all good....no deals, just prolonged the tax payment:)

yeah I just went to Best Buy and the customer service rep didn't even look at the camera. they just refunded the 10% to my Card. who knew 5D II cheaper in Best Buy than B&H

Just got back from Best Buy and they also refunded me the 10% on my credit card with that coupon.

Sweet!

For those of you who bought from Best Buy, you MUST take advantage of this coupon. I just went into my local Best Buy got refunded ~$300, so my total was actually less than MSRP after taxes.

Print it out, it's mid page.

It worked for me -- I didn't even take my camera, just my receipt! The manager was pretty pissed though -- she almost threw the receipt at my face

Anyway thanks for saving me $290! bw!

Yea consumer electronics ain't a hot business to be in right now and that coupon is killing their margin, I'm sure. They started all of these web coupon and affiliate programs months (and years) ago before the big downturn and now I bet they can't retract them fast enough.

right, but sell a few DVDs or games/software and they'll catch right back up.

I have ZERO sympathy for electronic stores like BB. B&H maybe, but not BB.

We'll all be back to buying our electronics at Sears and Radio Shack, like the 1980s, if BB goes :D

Oh wait, they're gone or going too....

Way off topic! But just so we know are there any other commodity traders you feel don't merit sympathy? Or have you just singled out oil traders as being evil?

No, pretty much just the greedy oil speculators. I'm glad they bought oil at 130 a barrel. :)

Now where's my 5D MKII?

i am glad the coupon is working for people. :D

i'm doing best buy no favors, that's what they get for keeping a hold on my credit line $3000 hold on my credit line! it's a long story involving their in-store pick up crap... in the end, i had to pay cash.

oooh way to get a dig in on us sideline-commentators :D

There is no fix for Canon's crappy auto-ISO. I believe the same complaints have been going on since the 1D3 release, right?

and only partially a dig... Really, it's because that thread has 60+ views, and only 2 posters, and I'm the only one with the camera, so.....

yeah, I really can't grasp how they think that's a working system...

Seriously, just copy Nikon. It is only code and you can copy their ideas.

Some flexibility would be nice; 1/FL isn't even a guide when you're built like a human tripod.

exactly. 1/30th with a 24L yeah, that's terrible. oh look, he's got a 15mm FE on or a 16-35II @ 16, 1/15th?!?!?!!!!

I can't even begin to explain how dumb that is. Like I said, that was designed by people who don't use cameras.
