exactly. 1/30th with a 24L yeah, that's terrible. oh look, he's got a 15mm FE on or a 16-35II @ 16, 1/15th?!?!?!!!!

I can't even begin to explain how dumb that is. Like I said, that was designed by people who don't use cameras.

Wow, that's really how it works?? Who signed off on that business?

For those of you who bought from Best Buy, you MUST take advantage of this coupon. I just went into my local Best Buy got refunded ~$300, so my total was actually less than MSRP after taxes.

Print it out, it's mid page.

Thank you Thank you for posting this info. I used it today and my mkII is on its way.

Cheers Stu

Hmm, really stupid. I was surprised when I looked at the manual and noticed that Auto ISO doesn't work in Manual mode, it's just fixed at 400. I don't really understand why you wouldn't want the ability to set the aperture and shutter speed, then have the camera pick the ISO.
???

yes and no... I mean, that would be my ideal implementation of it, but manual for some is complete control. Basically what you just described would be what I'd like to see implemented as Iv.... Then leave manual alone.

But manual could be manual when you assign ISO and the other 2, or be Iv when you set ISO to auto if canon got their head out of their..........

Right, that's what I meant. I didn't mean to say that it should work like that in lieu of the traditional manual mode, just as another option.

For those of us who have luckily received our new Mark IIs and have or waiting for our BG-E6s, this could be useful for temporary alternatives to obtaining extra LP-E6 batteries:

Anyone know the latest from Amazon? If it's estimated ship date is too far off I might just have to pick up a 50d in the meantime.

Why'd you cancel? Did you get it from somewhere else?
