^^^ Customer Service don't even look at the camera or anything. they just scan and scan and they give you the new receipt and out you go. She was more surprised of the cost of the camera rather than crediting me the 10%.

Wally make sure they don't credit the card used by the original buyer. ask them if they can credit you to your own card.

I don't think they give cash but they do mail checks.

why would the NOT credit the original buyers card? Hell, the original buyer could take his receipt in right now with the coupon and get it. Actually, even w/o the receipt, I'd bet with just his CC and the coupon and a helpful CS agent he could get it done.

They WILL NOT give you cash back unless that's how you paid. I think it's unlikely they'll give another person anything back honestly, unless you pretend to be the other person....

I think he seller send the receipt too for the warranty. that's what I am reading from Wally's post. it would be funny if the original buyer bought it with cash. =)

So far, I am absolutely loving my 5DMII. But, to those who already have it, I want to ask whether you notice whether the CF Card Door creaks a little when it is closed and you are holding the camera. For the most part, the camera is rock solid, but that door just doesn't feel as much.

Mines solid

Definitely more solid than the original 5D.

mine feels a little like yours. but I forget about it once I start shooting.

I got my Best Buy Discount tonight! $288 Thank You !!! Disorder for bringing the Coupon to our attention. I literally was in and out of the store in 90 seconds!!

I have put a very short video up at SmugMug The content isn't anything, but I think the colors/ smoothness of playback etc are decent. My 2nd attempt with video.

I had to laugh when I saw this one. I have a heck of a time getting my shots straight - Ihave crooked horizons and slanted buildings. I took this on by sticking my arm out the window and shooting blind. Pretty darn straight.
