what's the focal range? looks pretty sharp

Heya, thanx for comments.

These where taken with the MPE-65, and shot at 1X mag. It was shot at about 4 inches from subject.

I really like the first one. How yo got 4 inches from it I'll never know. These guys are skittish.

Your rite, very hard to get close to. This was the third one i seen that day, and had to move really slowly in order for him not to fly away.
I managed to get a few shots before he took off. Got one of him taking off in flight, but to bad it was OOF.

Yes, macro photography is very fun since it opens up a whole new world.

I was thinking about selling my macro gear, but i held off since i always find myself coming back to it.
