3 Years ago, last month, I started GKPE with this simple thread: https://photography-on-the.net …highlight=great+Kiwi+potn

Hey I thought, there are a bunch of a guys in the US who are all active POTN members getting together and taking some great photos.
I wonder if we can pull together something similar with Kiwi members.

The result has grown beyond anything anyone could have predicted.
All you have to do is search for GKPE to see how big it has become, how many Kiwis got involved, how much fun has been had, and how many great photos have resulted.

So here is to another 3 years of Kiwi POTN members getting together to take photos and do what Kiwis do best; be the nicest damn people in the world.

And to start it all off here is my favorite photo from all the trips we have been on:

IMAGE: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v31/Moppie/Totheebb-tidecomesyou.jpg

I think it translates best as: After the low tide comes the high tide
I believe it is a concept we can apply to many things in life, including life itself

Have you Calibrated your Monkey lately?

Now more than ever we need to be a community, working together and for each other, as photographers, as lovers of photography and as members of POTN.

New thread has started off in good style - a benchmark has been set by those photos!
