I haven't taken it yet

2008 was the best year for me. Almost perfect.

I took far too many to narrow it down to 1...
Twas a very successful year and next year will no doubt be just as exciting

Yes 2009 ....... Rest of the North IS is my goal. East coast and Naki area.

Make sure you put a few days into the Naki, I have been here two weeks and have only seen the mountain three times and apparanlty I am lucky. Of course there is plenty of other stuff to shoot as well!

I may not be now.. waaaa. I was only told of the wee Balinese felines last night, and it appears someone else is off to look at them tonight.. organised before my "I want them!" was passed on to the current owners.

Just got the call fro, Canon, the 70-200 lives again! They had to replace the motor and the front group, total cost $1250 though! Mostly paid by travel insurance though.

A whopping Ouch, and Phew are well deserved for that sentence, Pete

eek pete - thats not cheap!
my 40D will be making its 1st trip to canon shortly... hopefully it will hold out until after ive finished all this WORK that jumped into my lap since spring... but the shutter button is developing an intermittent fault. they told me it will only be around $200 tho, so not as bad as yours

Yep ....... so its your fault Ive got this addiction to white lens
I think Duncan was the first though that really got me hooked on red rings with the 16-35.

Cant believe how much gear I have gone through in 3 years.
Mind you I have learnt a lot.

surely you still have a warranty on that..
