Make sure you put a few days into the Naki, I have been here two weeks and have only seen the mountain three times and apparanlty I am lucky. Of course there is plenty of other stuff to shoot as well!

Just got the call fro, Canon, the 70-200 lives again! They had to replace the motor and the front group, total cost $1250 though! Mostly paid by travel insurance though.

eek pete - thats not cheap!
my 40D will be making its 1st trip to canon shortly... hopefully it will hold out until after ive finished all this WORK that jumped into my lap since spring... but the shutter button is developing an intermittent fault. they told me it will only be around $200 tho, so not as bad as yours

Yep ....... so its your fault Ive got this addiction to white lens :lol:
I think Duncan was the first though that really got me hooked on red rings with the 16-35.

Cant believe how much gear I have gone through in 3 years.
Mind you I have learnt a lot.
