Just got the call fro, Canon, the 70-200 lives again! They had to replace the motor and the front group, total cost $1250 though! Mostly paid by travel insurance though.
Yay!
Good to hear insurance is covering most of it too.

weka2000 Is that a 300mm in your pocket? More info | I see a few 5Ds are starting to turn up on TM. Be interesting to see what the mk2 turns out like. Esp with what people can do with video.
