Ill sell my 40D and go 50D, simply because I can...the cost of upgrade will be small after selling the other body. The extra 5mp for cropping and better ISO + a decent LCD is a fair trade for the few pennies the upgrade will cost. I can't however justify 5D for what I do, but it sure is nice looking.

Plus I don't have any kids, a house or anything else to pay for :)

Scott you found duncans sensor cleaning classes.

The ISO thing is what intrests me, I still maintain my 5D was better at ISO than my 1Dsmk3.

Akiwi the wife analogy is far to real for many but same principle.....people should be happy with what they have.

Which is exactly why I have the 5D - not the 5D MkII - as my goal.

My logic?

5k for a 5D MkII body (give or take), or 5k for a 5D (pre loved) and some good glass.

It's not rocket science.

The pics I got off Brent's camera are easily good enough for anything I'll ever need to do.

As for the be happy with what you have thing Tony - there's only so much you can do with a p+s ;)

Cheers, Shane.

Hi Cliff, nice to see you here.

Thanks Pete. I have had nothing to say recently, hence my absence. Nor was I interested in being baby-sat after all the recent hoohaa.

Your recently-posted work has been very very cool. Have enjoyed the images.

Cliff

Nice lighting
Nice floor
Uncomfortable looking chair.
I just love the slippers. They would go pretty well with your blue robe Tony.

Who is that?

Chris.. Thank you for sharing that with us.... What are the symptoms?
