Photos from GKPE mini anyone?

You don't take a photograph. You ask, quietly, to borrow it. ~Unknown

Is it worth mentioning I know of one 5D2 that broke straight out the box?

Cheers, Dave.

My 30D was broken right out of the box. Canon fixed it, and now it works quite well.

So long and thanks for all the flash

it's not really that bad, it's the same as going up Remarkables on a wet winters day;-)a... kinda. you look after your gear it'll be ok, it's pretty hard on it though i suppose, I lost a lens hood because being plastic it shrunk from the cold then expanded and so became extremely loose, so loose it fell off when using it. It must be a real problem with the mk11 as we never saw a camera fail in 8 weeks(well not that we heard of beyond the normal "I dropped it in the water and...", and no major stories from the photographer before us.

I don't think the Antartic counts as a normal operating environment for anything except a person with the last name Hillary.

back from the Butterfly park at Te Puru.
Only edited two so far. I'll have to go to the auckland one with a 100mm macro.

Great shots! Going back to Butterfly Creek without the kids is on my list of photographic things to do!

There is some really nice automotive rig photography in the calendar (just to keep it photography related)
