It was pissing down yesterday, so we've already had our share for this week

Ohhh just got word that there is a REALLY good chance my 5dII will be at the old price and only a week or two away. Nice. Now I have to make up my mind if I want it or not LOL

Well I want it, just spending that kind of monmey at this time of year is a little scary, even at a nice price.

On another note, just managed to grab one of the last tickets up the front to see Iron Maiden tomorrow night, that should be..... loud.

Speaking of 5D2's there's a member of this thread has one now...

Usually I would say Tony, but I believe he is being a good boy this month. You jump to mind but have just spent up big time on other things, I wanna say Brent but he didnt seem to 'rave' over it....

Tonnes (Tim) the guy I work with took home a nice shiny new 5D kit yesterday. He's been obsessing over it for a couple of weeks now after shooting the Sevens with one that belonged to a friend of his, bowled over by the differences from his 40D. Whilst he has been utterly intolerable over the last two weeks going on about it, I have to say, I think it will allow him to take his pictures into areas where he's probably gonna want to grow.

In many senses, very nice to see someone like that, with loads of enthusiasm for it, but little direction pick up the tools that will help him so much. Quite looking forward to seeing what he does with it actually.
