Keep em coming then!

I've basically done the shots from shoot #1 in Chch. A lot more photos to give to the model and MUA than normal, but I still don't know how the Momentz gang for instance churn out edited photos from so many shoot so quickly. it's either the different style of the photos, or I'm shyte and they're not.

Once the model/MUA have had their email with the images, I'll stick a few up on here for some feedback. :)

I think they are just VERY motivated, and most importantly, not lazy buggers like us.

I'm looking forward to see your Chch shoots too, be interesting to see how you and Chris shoot the same scene, and what differences there are.

Here is a couple more behind the scene stuff from the "Drown the Gown" shoot:

Not afraid to get wet and do what it takes to get the job done either

Arron, my light stand stills works perfectly too, cheers for cleaning it out

I was a bit annoyed at all the small compact camera flashes going off during topgear, especially when they made it clear it wasn't allowed on the back of the ticket.
I was even more surprised though to see guys with DSLR's walking around the exhibt all afterwards.

Lining up the chiche:

So long and thanks for all the flash

Aww... within 24 hours of a shoot I have up to 10 images on the blog for viewing.. this is the prime time that people want to see them and want to show their friends etc.. it gets our blog out there... I dont believe its effective blogging if its not done within 48 hours... My web stats for each Monday of a week are testiment to that... the remaining photos however are not as quick.. lol Portrait shoots are 2-3 weeks.. weddings are 4 weeks... that said though.. I can edit a full portrait shoot (50 images) in a night and a wedding in 3-4 days.. I allow the extra because of the high workload... I'd say its more so the monetary motivation that helps :)

Hahah thanks I've been waiting to see the "behind the scenes' photos.. :) lol That one of Aaron sitting down cracks me up.. haha.. while i"m hard at work no doubt!!! :D

Re photography at Top Gear.. We were probably one of the ones you hated.. haha.. We had all our gear with us, well two cameras and two lenses... I looked everywhere though to see if we were allowed or not, as I didnt want to get there and be told to put it in the car etc... Given that our tickets were the printed off email ones, there was nothing on them about no cameras... and I too saw heaps of SLRs around the exhibits.
We didnt use flash during the show though... IS and high ISO FTW! :) Photographic evidence on FB :D

The way the bodies work is regardless of when you ordered it, even if it was months ago, the price you pay is based on when it was delivered. Ergo, after March = more cash. IF lenses go up again, I expect the same principle to apply. So whilst there's no word on rises, and I think the shop you're dealing with is shining you on a bit, it won't hurt to get the order in and take delivery asap, because if you wait, they go out of stock again and don't get anymore for a few months, you could get stung if there is a lens price increase.

Hence why I grabbed a 5dII this morning, I was in Harvey Norman visiting a good mate and he gave me a price I couldn't refuse and had the box in his hand waving it around. I figured it was too good to pass up and If I decide the upgrade over the 40D isn't worth the $4k to me then I'll just flick it on in a few months as they will be retailing for $5999 aparently.

Would love to take the 40D to Iron Maiden tonight but am pretty sure it would get taken off me / me not allowed in.
