No, 2005 at Silverstone.

An attempt to give the car more grip and less drag. I think it won one GP, but due to the tyre maker not being keen to develop a special tire for just one car, it got slower and eventually the rules were changed to ban more than 4 wheel cars.

1st, 2nd and 3rd in it's 1st race and then basically banned.

Nope. Doesn't look anything at all like a Ford GT40.

The best race car made...

Lord knows what a real one would cost, likely something aproaching the NZ GDP...

some fairly old canon camera stuff, canon lenses, Manfrotto "thingy", and an M5, also an M6 that has had a 720nm filter bolted onto the sensor:

50d owners assemble. I tripped on a shoot today and my focus system isn't trustworthy anymore, I've ordered a new 50d, luckily at the old price, it'll turn up hopefully Thursday fingers and toes crossed, and I have a wedding on Friday which will be in a low light church. So I'll have Thursday evening to get this thing ready to shoot with. My main concern is the low light noise, so if anyone has one and has got a magic potion to get the best out of the camera please tell. Much thanks in advance:). actually I might post this out in the open forum too. I'll update with the link....

Damn:( What camera was it? Hopefully it's not terminal for the camera (& lens!)

The only person that I know who has used a 50d is Cliff (had a loaner from Canon for evaluation, motorsports, so probably no low light stuff) I think he was pretty impressed with it.

30d, trusty as!! not terminal I don' think, but i can't trust the focussing now, although I kept shooting with my fingers crossed for the rest of the day, checking periodically, it has focussed ok, but to use it it is way wierd, I haven't tried it at something like 2.8 though, it should be covered ok with insurance, but not to know until tomorrow.

Yeah I think it'll be ok, I've found a fair amount of info and had a bit of help on settings etc the last few hours, now it's just got to turn up on time!

You didn't miss much, all over, severely reduced overs to chase big score, big FAIL!!

Bed time for me, good luck with the new camera. (if you don't like it, you can always send it to me:D)
