I don't actually mind the effect, still looks good.

At least Expresso_Addict is out there taking photos. Much better than sitting on butt being an armchair critic - like I am today.

No offence meant Expresso_Addict - didn't mean it to come across that way - no doubt it has though..... It's still a tonne better than any of the myriad of "cracking" rally shots appearing in the motorsport forum.

I just have a little 'thing' about faked motion blur. One of my competitors had a photo published once that had the brake calipers on the car appearing blurred (rotational blur). I have never seen that before..... :)

It's nigh on impossible to get that much motion blur so close to the start line. This is on it's way to a sub 7 second run, and it's way past the grandstand, yet probably only doing 50-70 kmph by this stage

Shoot slower still.....no, slower, no - slower again.....

Cool. Well Bob and I, and Brent are booked in for Thurs night. Brucey Baby is out with the Mrs (damned double booking! ;)) but promises to join us after for drinks. :)

You're around over the weekend then? I could see some 365 action coming on. :p

Cheers, Dave.

He's coming to the viewing ;)

Apprently we have 40 odd photos to go through and pick from.
They would usually have been ready today for viewing (2 working days after the shoot), but I gave them the extra week because I was out of town

PS, Lower Hutt, scarily close to where fellow POTN nerdz Mevunky and Tonnes live. Run like the wind! ;)

Cheers, Dave.
