I went down to these falls not far from my home in NJ the other day with my G-1. Have shot them before in the summer, but this is the first time in winter.

Are those the Patterson Falls. (I once lived in NJ and went to these falls.)

Yep,

They're the Great Falls of Paterson, NJ. I believe its the highest falls in the northeast after Niagara...amazing, sitting in the middle of a rundown industrial area!

The city is sitting on a tourist gold mine and doesn't know what to do with it. In the summer, many of the views are blocked by overgrown weeds. On the other hand, you don't have to fight swarms of tourists.
