why are the coaches on the fb field

It was during a jamboree-used for tiering of the teams. The get 10 plays each way-coaches are viewing from both sides and correcting and evaluating all along.

OOF, but they cracked me up. My son, between innings. When I was editing pics, I asked what he was doing, and he said "Oh, I was singing 'I'm a pretty butterfly,'" and walked off like that was all the explanation necessary.

What a great thread this is, i had many laughs browsing tru it.

Putting this topic into perspective: One image from the 1960's falls in this category, and through the decades, it still defines the category.

The picture appeared in Life around 1969. It showed Edward Villella, who was a principal performer with the New York City Ballet at the time. Photographer Bill Eppridge captured the image for Life.

This picture and the concept behind it have been duplicated so often in the ensuing decades that the original has lost some of its impact. However, when it was first published on Life's large format pages, the image of Villella redefined the athleticism and power of male dancers. It caused people who had never taken male dancers seriously to reconsider those dancers' talent and abilities. It also inspired generations of sports photographers to seek the same sort of display of power and grace in the images they created.
