officer_hardass Member 90 posts Joined Nov 2005 Location: Vancouver, BC More info | canon makes the best telephoto lenses. keep in mind AF accuracy and speed. 3rd party brands can't seem to match canon in that department. don't settle just on price alone - it's heart breaking to lose a shot due to misfocussing. go for a "L" rated telephoto.
