I try to be one of those people that actually tries the search function before asking, but my search for "40D shutter release" turned up nothing.. so here goes.

upgrading from an XTi to a 40D, and realized that my shutter release trigger for the XTi won't work for the 40D.

there's quite a few different radio wireless triggers on Ebay, but i'm really weary of wireless and their reliability.

can I get some first hand recommendations on a shutter release for the 40D?

thanks,

Jeff

I have the Cleon Phottix for the 40D. Works great for me. I got it from a TeamSpeed here on POTN.

Thanks guys! I am currently out, but am trying to figure out whether I can get my hands on the Mega version of the Cleon. I like mine, it works great!
