Anyone Familar with "Lake Chelan, Washingon?"

I found this little treasure in my deceased uncles photos.Those of you familar, will notice a bit of a change?

I visited Lake Chelan in 2003, took the boat tour to the west end of the lake. I am not too familiar with the town, but can see some changes from the photo. When was it taken?

Is that Campbells on the lake? Also, the town at the other end of the lake is Stehekin. It's a really nice boatride up there.

Yeah, Stehekin is neat. They had just installed their first stop sign and were so proud of it. I only saw one or two vehicles, so the sign was a definite luxury.
