Now that the 5d MkII has been oficially announced, it time to start speculating about it's replacement in 2011...

Any thoughts?

Replacement date may be affected by how long it takes to diagnose and fix the AF issues. . .

Kidding, of course!

Have Fun,

I heard from a reliable source (and therefore its confirmed :D) that it will only have nine points for autofocus.

The 5DMIII will have 4.1fps and nine autofocus points, but they will just be placed a little closer to the middle of the viewfinder.

I predict that the 5DIII will be coming out in 18months or less. Nikon has caused Canon to step-up their replacement cycles.

The new 5D MK III battery grip (usable only on the 5D Mk III) will have a built in pop up style flash.
