DHMN Goldmember 1,207 posts Joined Sep 2008 Location: Cloquet Minnesota More info | Apr 02, 2009 16:27 | #33 The thing coming out of it's mouth is most likely air bladder or swim bladder...something about being brought up from way down deep and de-pressurizing.. kind of the same scenario as a human getting the bends.. it's doesn't harm the fish if you know how to fix it with a syringe.. but if you put it back in the water without letting the air out of the bladder like that it will be dead. I don't know all the technical terms but that's what it is. EOS 7D Sigma 70-200 F2.8 (1.4 extender outdoors) are the workhorses. 50D for backup, EF 70-300MM USM f/4-5.6 IS, Freelance photographer for local newspapers and my website viewthroughmylens.net
